Connecticut State Trooper Fired For Making Porn Video On Duty

A lieutenant, who oversaw the local police department in Somers, is off the job after allegedly making an explicit video while working.

Allegations involving lingerie, a camera and a police cruiser against Jose Claudio Jr. emerged after he was arrested on a domestic violence charge.

Even though Claudio was on the job for a year and a half, he got to know many in Somers. The residents said they are hurt by the news and so is the first selectman because he said the trust was broken.

“I never thought he’d do something like that, but I guess it’s true,” Ralph Petkis, of Somers, said.

There are allegations against Claudio that he recorded himself performing lewd acts while on the job. He’s become the latest, of many nationwide, to be accused of sexual misconduct.

The tawdry accusations were made while Claudio, who has 24 years of police experience, was being investigated by Enfield Police Department for a domestic incident. He was accused of snapping a photo of himself sniffing lingerie while in uniform and driving a cruiser.
